This is old news. Some of you might have already read about this on Worldiki blog. Back in November, Worldiki ran a contest for a Sony Photo Printer. I was announced the winner in the middle of December.

I assured Grace that i would blog about it along with photos. But, i was not ableto do that till now. I have to keep my word. So, now i’m doing it. The printer is great. Also, is the print quality. I received it in good condition. Here are the pictures :

Sorry guys for the absence of any posts in the past week. I was very busy with a lot of other works actually. It was Festival season here and i was busy with the fun. Then, i spent a lot of time on a new project. Its a suspense now. Its nearing completion and i’ll be launching in a week or two.

Group Writing Contests are all fun and this one is no exception. Marco wants to celebrate his birthday Oct 21st (Happy Birthday Marco) and has announced a group writing contest on this occasion. The title is interesting on this one. You’ll have to publish a post on your blog telling what Wordpress plugin you are missing the most. That is, you should be completing this sentence “I want a WordPress-Plugin that will…“.

Though Prizes are not really important in Group Writing contests, the prizes could have been made better (perhaps more interesting) in this particular contest. What popped up in mind as soon as reading about this contest is that… since everyone are writing about Wordpress plugins that don’t exist, the best prize could have been Getting an WP coder to code the plugin described in the winning post. And, as a return, the coder could have a backlink from each of the entries. That sounds interesting. Isn’t it ? Hey Marco, if possible, you could add this one as a prize. That will be a lot of fun. But, even if Marco doesn’t use this idea, i think someone else will. If none does, i will (yes, i will run such a contest. a little different though).

Coming back to this contest, the deadline was October 21st and it has been extended to October 29th.

Today, i’m happy to announce the new design for My Blog Contests. It is based on the design of my other blog Got Chance. I’ve made i two column to allow more space for the main content. However, i’d like to hear comments from you on what to modify etc… I’d also like to have some suggestions for new features. I thought of putting a new feature so that you can post about your contest directly on your own (this system is implemented by some other contest blog out there). But, then i rejected the idea because it will not be fair. As the contest host, you might tend to promote your contest too much. And i’d like to have my full control on my blog. Also, i wish to express my own opinions on a contest.

I’m planning to have Featured contests. And, now that Contest Blogger doesn’t just concentrate on blog contests, its place is left vacant. I’m planning to announce a MBC Oath similar to Contest Blogger Oath. Will you all like that feature ? Also, feel free to suggest your own feature.
